Cotswold Chickens has been running Beginners and Advanced Chicken Keeping Courses for 17 years.  Our course leaders who own the business are very experienced and with their knowledge and encouragement you will leave our Beginners courses confident and ready for your new venture.

Our Advanced courses should build on the Beginners course and hopefully will help you avoid expensive vet visits for those minor ailments. Our team are always on hand or at the end of the telephone should you need any further assistance.

Once you purchase hens from us you become "one of the family" and can take advantage of our "Lifetime of advice".
Our courses are aimed at the complete beginner and also the more advanced keeper. They are informative and we provide plenty of chicken handling, practicals and products to investigate.

We aim to have a very relaxed atmosphere, and will encourage your involvement throughout the course; after all keeping hens should be enjoyable, not a chore.

The courses usually run for about two and a half hours with a break for coffee, tea and cakes halfway, they are held indoors so no need for wellies, there are pens and a full set of course notes within your pack.

"Cotswold Chickens has the best goody bag of any of the chicken courses!"
