Swinbrook Hen House

Following advice and guidance from chicken experts and breeders and coupled with our own experience of over thirty years in the joinery business, the Swinbrook chicken house is the result.

The Swinbrook hen house is made in our own workshops in Wiltshire using only timber from managed and sustainable sources approved and certified by the Forest Stewardship Council of Great Britain. 

• Both the side and one half of the roof are easily removable for access
• The perches are removable and the floor of the house is at a height designed to minimize back-ache when cleaning  
• The pop-hole is lockable both in the up and down position
• The house is set up off the ground to minimize the possibility of rodent attack giving the hens shelter and shade
• The nestbox is at a convenient height and the top is hinged for easy access
• All edges are rounded and sanded to minimize red mite
• Dimensions are 3‘ 9” (1150mm) by 2’ 9” (850mm) by 4’ 6” (1370mm) high overall
