To purchase your pullets is simple, come and visit us and choose which ones you’d like, you can mix the breeds to create a flock of your own choice or you can keep them all the same – the choice is yours. We’ll check them over and make sure you are happy with them, at this point their wings can be clipped if required at no extra cost.

No need for wellies as we have the luxury of a concrete yard and parking

We are open from 10am until 5pm 6 days a week, closed at 4.00pm on Sunday and we’re closed on a Wednesday. 

A cat carrier/basket is ideal to take your pullets home in, otherwise a cardboard box will be fine, something around a crisp box size will take two comfortably, please make sure there are ventilation holes in the box. Alternatively we have a stock of boxes available to purchase at 75p per box.

A short introduction to hen keeping is available free of charge only when you purchase one of the starter packs, this covers handling, care, feeding and general health.  It will last for about 20 min and any questions or concerns can be discussed. We’d rather you leave from here a little more confident and knowledgeable than when you came in!  We also offer online or telephone assistance. If you’d like the introduction without purchasing a starter pack then there will be a charge of £10.

We have devised two different starter packs, the first one is the basic pack which will give you everything you need to start with, the second pack includes health and care products and upgraded items.  It is possible to swap items for others if you already have some of the goods.
